Hey bassit!.Been playing for a year now, with no real focus beyond getting my technique down and learning songs I like.My daily practice routine consists of practicing scales for 30 minutes (Starting slow, then speeding up towards the end)and chord tones for another 30 minutes. I guess I can make basslines by playing the chordal tones (Starting with the root, playing across other chordal tones to the root of the next chord) but i havent done anything im too proud of yet.I havent had a teacher for this entire year and am trying to find one.Any suggestions for what i can do to improve?Any critiques on my practice routine or books that would help me improve?Any comments are appreciated.
